Baseball

Baseball is a game that the Americans and specially the Dominicans are very fond of. Our immigrants from Bazbina have been always active in this sport - even they owned teams. The Antuns, the Musas and the Hazims owned teams in the Dominican Rep and in Puerto Rico.  Don Federico Antun was the national president of the sport. For the 50th anniversary commemorating the founding of the Baseball Association in the Dominican Republic, my friend Honorable Judge Achilles Alvarez, wrote an article in the sport magazine “    “ on the history of the game. It is a very interesting article to us, we from Bazbina, as it is not only on baseball, but to the importance of Don Federico Antun behind the whole Association.
